Flood 1

Many of you may know that we had some serious flooding and other severe weather here in Wes Tn over the weekend. I have some pictures that I took here at home and that Matt took as he was out with the CERT team on Saturday when it was at the worst and then also some pic from yesterday and this morning of what it looks like now. I will put them up as I can in a couple of different posts.

This is my backyard on Saturday morning, some time around 8:30am. Mom's motor home was sitting along that fence just in front of the weeping willow tree until Friday afternoon! Thank Heaven's we moved it! The water in that corner got probably a foot deep.

This is that same corner today. It only rained a bit yesterday morning thankfully! As you can see we were left with a bit of mud to deal with!

This is where the motor home had been sitting. Notice the cinder blocks. That area is still a squishy, muddy mess!

In this picture you can see how far up the fence the water was. this is about half way up the yard from the corner wear it pooled, it was running at this point.
The water ran from this corner down to the other corner. The fence is going to have to be filled back in so the dogs cant get out.
