We spent Thanksgiving in Texas this year with my brother J.L. and his family, Lisa (wife), James, and Isabel Jeanne! We had a BLAST!! For a really good summary of what we did check out Lisa's blog Click Clack Quack. I am going to add some pictures and video from the week here.
Some may question the safety of this method of sawing. But I am happy to report they both still have all of their extremities! And the board they cut was straight to boot!
This is the finished product of the afore mentioned sawing project. A riser for the couch in the media room. It turned out awesome!! We enjoyed Hell Boy on the big screen, more than once actually! 
On Turkey day J.L. , Lisa, James, Matt, Ben, and I participated in the Turkey Trot. It was alot of fun! Lisa made cute turkey day shirts for the kids and the four of us adults had Turkey Trot shirts, so we looked like one big matching turkey herd! It was great fun!
I don't actually have any pictures from Sunday the 23, the day we arrived, we drove all night and pretty much just layed around all day. This picture is from Monday I think, but is a fair representation of what Sunday looked like. J.L. and Matt have endless things to talk about, it is great!
My mom arrived on Sunday evening and the Grand Kids were sooo excited to have her here! Ben and Izzy Jeanne did a great job of sharing the Grammy right away!
Monday we went to the grocery store to get all of the fixings for the big day! In true Parker fashion we all went and had three carts and a lot of fun! Uncle Matt driving the Car Cart was the hit of the day!!
J.L. smoked a brisket Tuesday and the kids had soo much fun playing outside while J.L. and Matt tended the smoker. During the day the boys had a very successful day of home-improvement tasks while the girls went shopping and to the salon!

James was such a good sport to have Ben toddling around after him constantly and was a champ at sharing his toys! Ben wanted to do everything he saw James do, right down to sharing J.L., it was really cute!! They had a lot of fun playing with each other and their Grammy!
On Wednesday night my sister Kristie finally arrived. The boys went nuts playing with Auntie Muggs!! it was soo cute!

We had to hurry a little, but we caught up to the guys just before the finish line.
They were struggling!! But they made it!!
J.L. did his first ever smoked turkey. It tasted Delicious!! But we were all a little skeptical when it first came out! Lisa's roasted one on the other hand was beautiful!! As was the table settings. Thanks Lis for a wonderful Thanksgiving!! Mom and Kristie made the turkey trot and dinner all possible! Thanks Mom and Muggs!

Yay! We had such a great time with you guys. The house seems awful quiet and lonely now. James and I have been looking through pictures and each time he goes "Look there's Ben!" It's really cute. MISS YA!
...So that's where you've been. If you drove, I hope it wasn't too bad because that's a really long ways! I'm glad you burned off your calories with a good run. I'd kill for some nice running weather.
