Last year Christmas Eve Eve became Clara Eve in our house. As I was scheduled for induction on the 24
th of December. She made her arrival in the early afternoon and it was the best early Christmas present Ever! This year we spent Clara Eve getting ready for a first birthday party and Christmas Eve. It was a lot of fun! Matt is the best dad and dutifully frosted nearly 50 mini cupcakes!
We had family and friends as close as family coming over on Clara Eve to celebrate so we planned a bunch of finger foods, this is part of the
pre-party stack!
Uncle Billy was the first party member to arrive, he is a Favorite Uncle! He had the Santa Tracker radar on his phone and Ben watched it for a good 20 minutes! It was super cute!
Soon Aunt Linda, Uncle Brandon, Uncle Aaron and Auntie Rachel all arrived and the real fun began! Food and Presents!
Ben gave sister a butterfly car for her birthday and he insisted it be one of the first presents, and that he get to help her open it! She took to present opening very quickly!
Later in the evening Uncle Mark, Auntie Melissa, and cousins Dalton and
Brayden came over to celebrate. It was a really really good day!
She has not been interested in standing at all! Until she opened the Train! now she is standing
independently and will probably soon be walking!
If you have seen
despicable me and you can hear the little girls voice when she says, "IT'S SO FLUFFY!!!" that
describes Clara's unicorn, she absolutely adores it!
